About the role#
Bernhard is hiring an Engineering Intern to support technical staff in our utility system construction operations. This is a full-time, paid position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. You will work under direct supervision, handling basic tasks and learning our organizational processes. We offer rolling internships for students pursuing degrees in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to assigned engineering projects.
- Organize and store technical records, including maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural documents.
- Assist with the maintenance of filing systems and project documentation.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records to identify necessary revisions and prepare data for updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for a technical field of study.
- A beginning to working knowledge of your subject matter.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attentiveness and the ability to follow directions.
Location & details#
- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Travel: Up to 5% of the time to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods, climb stairs, and move objects up to 20 pounds.
