About the role#
As an Engineering Intern, you will support our technical teams by performing basic engineering tasks. This role provides hands-on experience within the utility system construction industry, allowing you to learn our organizational processes and contribute to active projects under direct supervision.
What you'll do#
- Learn our internal processes and procedures.
- Contribute to assigned projects and perform basic engineering tasks.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of records, filing systems, and data resources.
- Organize and store engineering documents, including maps, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Collect and code data from various sources.
- Review existing records for necessary revisions and prepare data for input.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of attentiveness and the ability to follow directions.
- Ability to handle basic issues while knowing when to refer complex problems to senior staff.

- Travel: Up to 5% travel to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods, perform repetitive hand motions, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 pounds.
