About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Bernhard, you will support technical staff with daily operations and project tasks. This role provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to practical utility system construction projects. You will work under direct supervision while learning our internal processes and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to assigned engineering projects.
- Organize and store technical documents including maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural records.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation.
- Collect and code data from various sources for input procedures.
- Review existing records to identify necessary revisions and prepare data for use.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- High level of attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow specific directions.
Location & details#
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Travel: Up to 5 percent travel to job sites or office locations may be required.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
