About the role#
The Business Insights Intern supports our Market Research and Business Analytics teams. You will gain exposure to competitive intelligence, market research, product testing, and business reporting. This role helps us better understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
What you'll do#
- Monitor competitor performance, industry trends, and market developments in the coatings and building products sectors.
- Prepare executive-ready summaries, presentations, and reports that explain key industry insights.
- Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of market research studies, surveys, and customer feedback programs.
- Coordinate product testing initiatives, including test design and data collection.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports to support Sales and Marketing teams.
- Analyze business performance metrics to provide data-driven insights for strategic initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated strength in oral and written communication, including the ability to write project briefs and business correspondence.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective relationships with colleagues.
Location & details#
- Location: Montvale, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- Pay range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
