About the role#
Benesch is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern to join the Civil - Roadway department. You will work alongside experienced professionals dedicated to improving highway and roadway infrastructure. This role offers mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to active project sites.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to engineering projects involving highway and roadway design.
- Perform traffic analysis.
- Assist with plan preparation.
- Gain hands-on experience in engineering design software, construction documentation, and collaborative project delivery.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
- Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from project sites.
