About the role#
As a Landscape Architecture Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting the planning, design, and presentation of landscape projects. You will work alongside our design team to learn the processes that lead to successful project outcomes. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with drafting, rendering, site surveys, and client presentations.
- Support project teams with planning and design tasks.
- Document project details.
- Participate in site visits and walkthroughs to ensure project requirements are met.
- Attend departmental and training meetings.
- Use AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3D modeling programs to support design workflows.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related design field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Moderate proficiency in Photoshop and 3D modeling programs.
- Understanding of landscape terminology, plant materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to travel to project locations for site visits.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
- Work is on-site at the office and at project locations.
