About the role#
As an Environmental & Water Resources Intern, you will work with our team to address water, wastewater, and environmental challenges. You will gain experience in the planning and design of infrastructure projects while working alongside engineers. This role offers hands-on field and design experience with opportunities for mentorship and project collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Assist with data collection and analysis.
- Support hydraulic modeling efforts.
- Participate in infiltration and inflow studies.
- Help with treatment system evaluations.
- Gain experience in the planning and design of environmental and water infrastructure projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
- A strong interest in water, wastewater, and environmental systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with hydraulic modeling or water resource tools.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to project sites.

- This is an on-site position based in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
- The role is full-time and paid.
