About the role#
Benesch is hiring for a Construction Intern to join our civil construction team. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to gain hands-on field experience. This position is available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Support the inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects.
- Engage in construction observation and project documentation.
- Collaborate on active projects.
- Learn directly from experienced engineers and project managers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- EIT status is preferred.
- Experience working on field projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, or AutoCAD is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work within budgets and schedules.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Location & details#
This role is on-site and field-based. Positions are available in Kansas City, Manhattan, Overland Park, Topeka, and Wichita, Kansas.
