About the role#
The Revenue Billing Intern will join the Shared Service division for the Winter 2027 term. This position provides hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment by supporting the Revenue team with billing, accounting, and month-end close activities. You will work closely with team members to ensure billing transactions are accurate and financial activity is recorded correctly.
What you'll do#
- Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end close process, including account reconciliations.
- Process monthly billing files.
- Complete research projects and data analysis.
- Handle ad hoc requests as they arise.
- Provide administrative support such as scanning, filing, and distributing mail.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with department policies to support efficient operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree.
- A preferred minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Ability to work 15 hours per week.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Clear communication skills in English, including active listening.
- An adaptable, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn.
