About the role#
Benco Dental is seeking an HR Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This paid internship provides exposure to the Culture and People department in a live environment. You will work with HR professionals on day-to-day operations and various projects.
What you'll do#
- Support functional areas including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
- Source candidates, build talent networks, post positions, and schedule interviews.
- Assist with the administration of Health and Wellness plans, Retirement Benefits, and Leave of Absence programs.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team on compensation administration projects.
- Support associate recognition, community volunteer efforts, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals.
- Execute HRIS projects and assist with continuous improvement processes.
- Facilitate associate engagement activities and communicate policy changes.
- Maintain employee personnel files and provide general assistance to team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Pittston, PA.
- You must be able to work on-site.
- The schedule is up to 20 hours per week.
