About the role#
The Fixed Asset Intern works with the Accounting Office to keep accurate records of fixed assets. This role reports to the Assistant Controller for Disbursements and supports the team with inventory management and financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Help maintain accurate fixed asset records.
- Assist with physical inventory counts.
- Handle documentation, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
- Ensure all asset activities meet internal policies and audit requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
- Ability to maintain precise records.
- Experience or interest in supporting accounting tasks related to inventory and reconciliation.
Location & details#
- Location: Blacksburg, Virginia.
- This is an on-site, part-time, paid position.
- The internship term is rolling.
