About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring for an 8-month Co-op or Intern position within the Mergers and Acquisitions team. This is a full-time, paid role running from January to August 2027. You will work on-site in Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton.
What you'll do#
- Prepare pitch-books and presentation documents for business development.
- Conduct research on markets, industries, and specific companies.
- Build lists of potential buyers and acquisition targets.
- Assist with drafting marketing documentation, including Confidential Information Memorandums.
- Support financial analysis tasks such as financial modelling and comparable company analyses.
- Participate in due diligence processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary business program with an emphasis in accounting or finance.
- A strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform accurate analytical work.
- Strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multiple priorities.
