About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team in Manitoba for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. This is a full-time, paid position focused on reviews, compilations, and corporate tax work. You will work in a hybrid environment across our Winnipeg, Pembina Valley, Portage la Prairie, or Brandon offices.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
- Create working files for income tax and information returns for clients of various sizes.
- Manage ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients by responding to their requests and suggestions.
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to teamwork, client service, and high-quality, detailed work.
- Interest in pursuing long-term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
- Experience or certifications with software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is considered an asset.
