About the role#
The Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) intern will support our team in generating and disseminating evidence to demonstrate the value of our medical technology products. You will gain practical experience in HEOR methodologies while contributing to real-world healthcare challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist in conducting systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and landscape assessments.
- Support the development and adaptation of economic models, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses.
- Prepare HEOR deliverables such as abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and internal reports.
- Participate in data collection, cleaning, and analysis using statistical software.
- Maintain and update internal HEOR databases and resources.
- Attend team meetings to discuss research design, methodology, and the interpretation of results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- A strong understanding of HEOR principles, methodologies, and evidence generation.
- Familiarity with statistical software such as R, SAS, or Stata and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior research or internship experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare consulting settings is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Covington, Georgia.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- This role follows a hybrid work modality with a requirement of 4 days per week in the office.
- The internship term is rolling.
