About the role#
BBYO is hiring a Community Impact Operations Intern to support our mission of serving Jewish teens. This is a paid, remote position working 19 hours per week. We are looking for someone to help manage our operational systems, financial processes, and administrative tasks to ensure our programs run effectively.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to staff, teens, and parents using the myBBYO CRM in Salesforce and our website.
- Answer user questions regarding password resets, event registration, scholarship applications, and login issues.
- Produce data reports and maintain technical documentation, checklists, and directions for staff.
- Coordinate logistics for Community Impact meetings and events.
- Manage the CI Microsoft ecosystem, including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Support volunteer advisor operations, including recruitment, scheduling, and tracking metrics.
- Assist with annual planning processes and conduct audits of forms, waivers, and compliance requirements.
- Manage regional financial activities in Salesforce, such as reconciliation and transaction auditing.
- Support chapter-level financial processes, including bank accounts, cashless payments, and grant forms.
- Partner with department leaders to identify resource gaps and improve operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- An associate degree or higher, or current enrollment as a graduate student.
- 2 to 5 years of work experience.
- Experience working with youth or teens is preferred.
- Past exposure to BBYO as a teen or staff member is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The position is part-time at 19 hours per week.
- Compensation is $27 to $29 per hour.
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
