About the role#
BBI Logistics is looking for a student to join our team as an HR/Recruiting Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain practical experience in talent acquisition and HR while working alongside our transportation team. This internship is designed to build your knowledge of recruiting processes and refine your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Learn the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to offering a candidate.
- Shadow and work alongside our recruiting team.
- Identify and connect with potential candidates by crafting and sending outreach messages.
- Learn and apply FMCSA and DOT requirements for hiring.
- Review applications to assess candidate qualifications.
- Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews, taking on more responsibility as you grow in the role.
- Participate in weekly interview meetings with leadership to share insights on candidates.
- Complete and present a portfolio project to leadership.
- Collaborate with fellow interns through volunteer activities and company outings.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior undergraduate status pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- A hardworking and positive spirit.
- Ability to learn and work in an office environment.
