About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a Student Worker to support the Department of Art and Art History. This role involves assisting Graphic Design faculty and the Lab Manager with the daily operation, organization, and maintenance of the digital lab and studio spaces. You will work up to 10 hours per week, with a schedule based on your class availability.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and provide customer service.
- Handle general office, administrative, and clerical tasks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls and mail.
- Route and resolve questions or information requests.
- Prepare documents, maintain filing systems, and keep office records.
- Enter data into spreadsheets and generate reports.
- Organize office supplies and common areas.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information.
- Assist with the upkeep of the Graphic Design digital lab and studio.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Graphic Design major.
- Ability to be dependable, punctual, and organized.
- Capacity to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining regular attendance.
- Ability to comply with all University policies.
