About the role#
Bay Area Community Resources is hiring an After School Program Instructor for high school students. This is a part-time position designed to offer a starting point for a career in education or other professional fields. You will work 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, while helping the local community thrive.
What you'll do#
- Support and maintain a safe, emotionally supportive environment for students.
- Collaborate with adult instructors to assist with youth-driven curriculum.
- Actively supervise students and ensure their safety at all times.
- Model BACR best practices, including positive attitudes, behaviors, and language.
What you'll need#
- No prior experience is required as training is provided.
- Availability to work 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to reliably commute to Antioch.
- Commitment to social justice, leadership, and youth development.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic English reading proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with students and families.
- Ability to practice clear, open, and consistent communication.
- Commitment to participate in professional development.
- Must be able to provide a work permit and two reference letters.

- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
