About the role#
The Associate Software Engineer Co-op will work with the R&D team to explore how data can be used for intelligent healthcare algorithms. You will focus on machine learning, data science, and software engineering methods to help design new products.
What you'll do#
- Perform literature reviews on state-of-the-art techniques for retina image analysis and disease detection.
- Experiment and build algorithm prototypes.
- Write code and scripts using Python, Java, or C#.
- Perform data analytics on existing collections.
- Collect and organize data for future use.
- Document all work and data sets.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Knowledge of machine learning, including the ability to understand and implement algorithms.
- Familiarity with Transformers, LLMs, and related technologies.
- Understanding of ML techniques and platforms.
- Knowledge of data engineering, big data, cloud, and Kubernetes.
- Experience or knowledge in DevOps, MLOps, Docker, containers, CI/CD, and Azure.
