About the role#
This Electrical Engineering Co-Op position involves working on projects throughout the New Product Development process. You will contribute from the early concept stage through to prototype development. This role is based at the White River Marine Group headquarters in Springfield, Missouri. You will work in an office environment with occasional time spent at manufacturing plants or local lakes.
What you'll do#
- Test electrical appliances to gather data for system designs.
- Create electrical specifications and documentation based on test results.
- Develop electrical systems in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Build 3D CAD models and generate 2D CAD drawings for components and systems.
- Conduct bench top electrical tests using tools like O-Scopes, Multi-Meters, and power supplies.
- Participate in design reviews and work alongside cross-functional team members.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Electrical Engineering or Electrical Design.
- Junior or senior level status in your degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skills to operate bench top electrical test equipment.
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Zuken, E3, or Catia 3D software is a plus.
