About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in graphic design and multimedia production within the utilities industry. The position is based at the headquarters in Bismarck, North Dakota, and runs from Fall 2026 through Summer 2027. Work hours are flexible to accommodate your academic schedule, with part-time hours available during the school year.
What you'll do#
- Assist with multimedia production projects, including signs, banners, presentations, table tents, web pages, and sponsorship materials.
- Design and produce marketing, advertising, and social media content to support the cooperative and member system requests.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for content.
- Assist with live event design, including equipment setup, operation, staging, lighting, and sound.
- Help fulfill and ship orders from the member online store.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a two-year communications or graphic design program with at least one year completed, or a four-year program with at least two years completed.
- Recent graduates (within the past 12 months) are also eligible.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
