About the role#
The Chief Client Office - Client Data & Engineering Group (CDEG) supports client activity across the Investment Bank. This group works with Banking and Markets teams to generate insights, identify opportunities, and build connected coverage. As a summer intern, you will contribute to data platforms and analytical capabilities that support business activity. This 10-week program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to build technical and commercial skills.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to generate insights on client activity and business opportunities.
- Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and materials for coverage teams.
- Contribute to tools that improve how client information is accessed and used.
- Work with datasets to improve data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Banking, Markets, and Technology.
- Assist with live deals, client pitches, and the development of business cases.
- Help manage client relationships and provide customer service support.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your professional skills.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student in your penultimate or final year of study.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking capabilities.
- A genuine interest in business, finance, and data.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and work effectively in teams.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a desire to learn.
- Curiosity about clients, markets, and business activity.
- Experience with data analysis or programming (such as Python or SQL) is beneficial but not required.
