    About the role#

    This is a student position for Summer 2026. You will work with our team of videographers to gain hands-on experience on real projects. This role covers the full production lifecycle from initial concept and storytelling to final editing and delivery. You will contribute to communications campaigns while building practical skills in a professional environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Shoot, edit, and develop video content for internal and external communications.
    • Support communications campaigns through visual storytelling.
    • Learn the end-to-end production process.
    • Develop technical skills in content creation.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a degree program for television broadcasting, interactive multimedia, digital media, or a related field.
    • Must be returning to school for the next academic term.
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
    • Strong understanding of video and photography tools and techniques.
    • A self-driven work ethic and the ability to take initiative.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Eligibility to obtain Reliability security clearance.
    • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.

    • Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
    • Modality: On-site (schedule may require on-site presence for shoots).
    • Compensation: $28.73 per hour.
    • Status: Full-time student position.
