AI & Automation Intern

About the role#

Bamboo Works is seeking a tech-driven intern to support the development of internal systems, AI-powered workflows, and operational improvements. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the leadership team to build practical tools and applications, experiment with emerging technologies, and contribute to the company's internal automation strategy.

What you'll do#

• Build and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and lightweight applications.
• Develop AI-driven workflows and operational improvements to increase team efficiency.
• Research, test, and implement emerging AI tools and platforms.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding environments and no-code/low-code automation tools.
• Collaborate with management on new product ideas and process innovation.
• Document technical implementations, workflows, and internal processes.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with programming fundamentals and logical problem-solving.
• Ability to learn new technologies independently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or AI-assisted coding environments is a plus.
