About the role#
The Talent Acquisition Intern supports workforce planning, talent acquisition, and recruitment process improvement. You will work with HR, Operations, and Technology teams to develop planning solutions and contribute to projects that improve hiring effectiveness. This role is project-focused and involves gathering requirements, conducting research, and analyzing data.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and implementation of a workforce planning automation tool to improve staffing forecasts.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to identify reporting requirements and workforce planning needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support project execution and system development.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and recruitment marketing initiatives for skilled trades.
- Research HR technologies and industry best practices to drive process improvement.
- Support change management through training, communication, and user adoption efforts.
- Prepare presentations, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all employee, candidate, and company information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
- Preferred fields of study include Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Interest in HR technology, data analytics, and process improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Jessup, Maryland.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $22 - $28 per hour, plus applicable overtime.
- Travel: Up to 10% for facility visits or recruiting events.
