About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant. You will work alongside experienced leaders for 10 weeks, exploring core operations and contributing to projects that impact plant performance. This role is based on-site in Findlay, Ohio, and requires a commitment to working in a 24/7 environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn how a high-performing manufacturing facility runs by diving into daily plant operations.
- Lead or support projects focused on improving safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Collaborate with various departments to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
- Participate in professional development activities, including a week at corporate headquarters.
- Engage with plant leaders through weekly check-ins and mentorship.
- Develop leadership skills while gaining exposure to production and support teams.
- Follow all plant safety practices, SOPs, and policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field at an accredited 4-year university.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing and entering the workforce directly after graduation.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when needed.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
