About the role#
This is a 10-week Manufacturing Management internship based in Monticello, Indiana. You will work alongside experienced leaders to explore plant operations and contribute to projects that impact safety, quality, and cost performance. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Learn how a manufacturing facility operates by diving into daily plant activities.
- Lead or support projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Collaborate with different departments to analyze processes and suggest improvements.
- Participate in professional development activities, including a week at the corporate headquarters in Colorado.
- Meet weekly with plant leaders for mentorship and check-ins.
- Develop leadership skills while working with production and support teams.
- Follow all plant safety practices, policies, and standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Interest in a manufacturing career and entering the workforce directly after graduation.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and handle 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when needed.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
