About the role#
This 10-week internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant environment. You will work alongside experienced leaders to explore operations and contribute to projects that improve plant performance. This role is designed for students who want to build a foundation for a career in manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Dive into daily plant operations to learn how the facility runs.
- Lead or support projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Collaborate across departments to analyze processes and suggest improvements.
- Attend professional development activities, including a week at corporate headquarters.
- Meet regularly with plant leaders through weekly check-ins and mentorship sessions.
- Develop leadership skills while working with production and support teams.
- Follow all plant safety practices, SOPs, and policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field at an accredited 4-year college.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing and entering the workforce directly after graduation.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when needed.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
