About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the energy sector. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain insight into the systems and processes used to meet customer needs. Throughout the program, you will receive coaching and mentoring to help build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Assist with field operations such as drilling, well testing, or equipment maintenance.
- Collect and analyze data from field activities to identify trends or issues.
- Troubleshoot field operations and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
- Keep detailed records of field activities, inspections, and safety measures.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or another STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0, or the equivalent.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
