About the role#
This Field Engineering internship provides hands-on experience within a global energy company. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain insight into the processes and systems used to meet customer needs. Throughout the term, you will receive coaching and mentoring to help you complete projects and develop your professional skillset.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to assist in various field operations.
- Collect and analyze data from field activities to identify trends or issues.
- Troubleshoot field operations and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in proper working order.
- Keep detailed records and documentation of field activities, inspections, and safety measures.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
- A GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship.
