About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain real-world experience within our Private Wealth Management team in Fairfax. You will work alongside Financial Advisors, contributing to team projects and gaining insight into the daily operations of a financial services firm. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support Financial Advisors by reviewing reports and conducting research.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning and market research.
- Handle administrative tasks, answer calls, and address basic client questions.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
- Process necessary paperwork and documents.
- Perform additional duties and project support as required.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A genuine interest in building a career in private wealth management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with clients and associates.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, motivated mindset.
- Prior office experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Fairfax, Virginia.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting in June.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship including paid holidays.
