About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join our in-house creative team. You will work on layouts, designs, and production from the initial concept through to the final product. The role involves interpreting brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual representation across our projects. This is a hybrid position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will work in the office two days per week and remotely for the remaining three days. This role requires a full-time commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours per week during the summer and a part-time schedule of 15 to 20 hours per week during the school semesters. We are looking for a local student available to start in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with our full in-house creative team on various projects.
- Participate in concept brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
- Assist with print and digital production phases.
- Handle print-based design tasks, focusing on artwork changes, revisions, and layout work.
- Prepare files for vendors and assist with web-based project needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an art, graphic design, or visual communications degree program.
- An anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop within a Mac environment.
- Strong typographical skills and a solid portfolio of work.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive, motivated approach to work.
