About the role#
As a Private Wealth Management intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside Financial Advisors and their teams. You will act as a member of the team, applying classroom knowledge to professional tasks while learning the daily responsibilities of wealth management professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support Financial Advisors with various projects, including research and report reviews.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning and market research.
- Handle administrative tasks, phone calls, and basic client inquiries.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
- Process necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Manage other duties and project support as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A genuine interest in the financial services industry and a career in private wealth management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
- A high level of motivation, proactivity, and strategic thinking.
- Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting in June.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Modality: On-site.
