About the role#
This rotational internship offers hands-on experience across multiple disciplines including municipal and site development, transportation, and land surveying. You will work on projects that provide exposure to both office and field environments while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals. The program is designed to help you explore different career paths within civil engineering before you graduate.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through multiple disciplines to gain broad industry experience.
- Support engineering design and plan production through drafting, quantity calculations, data collection, and document preparation.
- Participate in survey fieldwork using GPS, robotic total stations, and UAS.
- Process field data and maintain project records.
- Assist with technical reports and project documentation.
- Work alongside engineers, surveyors, and construction professionals.
- Participate in both office and field assignments.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in civil engineering, construction management, surveying, or a related field.
- Interest in exploring multiple disciplines within the civil engineering profession.
- Reliable transportation to travel to office locations and project sites.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following established safety practices.
