About the role#
The Accelerate Product Innovation internship is a 10-week program designed to help you grow your professional skills while working on real business challenges. You will join the Product Management team to refine the rental experience, focusing on the journey from initial reservation through vehicle pickup. This role is based on-site in Parsippany, New Jersey, for the Summer 2027 term. You will be paid $35 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Support Product Management in optimizing features to improve conversion and reduce friction for customers and staff.
- Partner with Engineering, UX Design, Analytics, and Operations teams to translate customer needs into clear product requirements.
- Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and document customer flows or edge cases.
- Analyze customer behavior and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate how product changes impact both the customer experience and station operations.
- Participate in team rituals like backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.
- Present a final project and recommendations to company leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a college or university with an expected graduation date in May or June 2028.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
- A working knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to understand how systems, APIs, and digital products function.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to break down complex scenarios into structured requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
