About the role#
We are looking for a student team member to join our food service team at Malone University. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with soups, salads, breads, condiments, utensils, and entrées.
- Serve guests and interact with them in retail and dining areas.
- Follow standard guest service procedures, including greeting customers.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to regulatory rules.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with team members and other departments.
- Professional conduct when interacting with managers, supervisors, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
