About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in commercial construction project management. You will work alongside a Project Engineer who acts as your mentor. You will support the team from early design and preconstruction through to final closeout. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Eugene, Oregon, with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Support project delivery and coordinate information between design and construction teams.
- Maintain project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, contracts, and meeting notes.
- Assist with cost tracking, including budgets, commitments, and change orders.
- Help with estimating, bidding, scope development, and subcontractor coordination.
- Support project schedule development and maintenance.
- Assist with procurement and project logistics.
- Support field teams with project coordination.
- Participate in project meetings and track action items.
- Use construction and project management technology.
- Build practical construction knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Interest in commercial construction and the integration of design and construction.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions.
- Ability to stay composed when managing changing priorities and deadlines.
- Initiative to follow through on assignments and accept responsibility for your work.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Location: Eugene, Oregon.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, seasonal internship.
- Compensation: $24 per hour.
- Benefits: Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) retirement plan, including employer match, subject to eligibility requirements.
