About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience across the entire construction project lifecycle. You will work alongside a Project Engineer who acts as your mentor. The role involves supporting project managers, superintendents, and our in-house design team. You will gain practical knowledge in project management, scheduling, and estimating while working within an integrated design and construction environment.
What you'll do#
- Support project delivery from early design and preconstruction through to final closeout.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to assist with project coordination.
- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, contracts, and meeting notes.
- Help coordinate information between design and construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Support financial tasks like cost tracking, budgets, and change orders.
- Assist with estimating, bidding, and scope development during the preconstruction phase.
- Help develop and maintain project schedules.
- Assist with procurement and project logistics.
- Use project management technology such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and Primavera P6.
- Participate in project meetings and track action items.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Interest in commercial construction and the integration of design and construction processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized under deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
- Willingness to take initiative and follow through on assignments.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative group.

- Location: Grants Pass, Oregon.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, seasonal internship.
- Compensation: $24 per hour.
