About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a paid, part-time internship scheduled for Summer 2027. You will work on-site and participate in our intern development initiative, which includes mentorship and professional exploration opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operations support to the team.
- Compile project data and prepare reports.
- Perform engineering calculations under supervision.
- Conduct field observations of construction projects when appropriate.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in a related technical field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.
- Basic computer skills for data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
- Math skills for simple calculations and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
