About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Bothell, Washington office. You will work on-site as part of our engineering team to gain hands-on experience in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and development of project plans and drawings.
- Complete simple drafting and CAD assignments based on detailed instructions.
- Assist engineers with tasks related to structures plan production.
- Compile data and help prepare technical reports.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the engineering staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours toward a civil engineering degree with a structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Strong math skills for performing calculations.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Experience with AutoCAD and FEM software is preferred but not required.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship with an hourly range of $25 to $31, depending on skills and experience.
