About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring students for a paid internship during the summer of 2027. You will join our mechanical and electrical division to work on engineering projects. This role offers the chance to develop your skills alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
Depending on your background, you will contribute to one of the following areas:
- Mechanical building engineering: Work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, steam, and cooling water. You will handle design calculations, specifications, site support, and commissioning.
- Electrical building engineering: Assist in the design of electrical distribution, power supply, lighting, grounding, and building services for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
- Lighting design: Help design interior and exterior lighting systems, including lighting control systems, to meet safety and efficiency requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Excellent command of French.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A creative and effective approach to problem-solving.
- A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in Montréal or Québec, Quebec.
