About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Roads & Highways Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Denver, Colorado office and provides hands-on experience within our engineering services team.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operations support to the Roads & Highways Engineering staff.
- Collaborate with engineers on various roadway plan production tasks.
- Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments based on detailed instructions.
- Assist in compiling design data and preparing construction plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer is preferred.

- This internship is located in Denver, Colorado.
- The role is on-site and part-time.
- Compensation ranges from $25 to $31 per hour based on skills and experience.
