About the role#
As a Procurement Student at AtkinsRéalis, you will provide administrative support to the procurement team, including buyers, order administrators, and management. You will handle sensitive financial information while assisting with projects and services. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.
What you'll do#
- Manage clerical tasks such as requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, distribution, and filing.
- Support Procurement and Quality Management with reporting and general duties.
- Process Non-Disclosure Agreements and act as the custodian of the proposal submission inbox.
- Serve as a material control administrator for Procurement Engineering.
- Register supplier documentation in the document management system.
- Assist with logistics and interface with Finance and Shared Services for invoicing and accounts payable activities.
- Create and issue small-dollar purchase orders, including Pcard and punch-out orders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program or possess equivalent work experience.
- Administrative experience in a busy office environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and database entry.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Capacity to work independently while managing a high volume of requests to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow directions from management and stakeholders.
- A professional approach to working in a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience in a procurement environment is an asset.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4, 8, 12, or 16-month placements available).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
