About the role#
This is a full-time internship opportunity for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within our engineering teams to support projects across various sectors. This role is offered on a hybrid basis.
What you'll do#
- Design and manufacture products, machines, and equipment.
- Create mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and fire protection.
- Design energy systems such as motors, turbines, and heating and cooling units.
- Assist in the design and delivery of mechanical systems for hydropower facilities.
- Develop automated systems to improve process efficiency.
- Support environmental assessments related to air quality, emissions, noise, and vibration.
- Design fire protection and sprinkler systems while performing risk assessments and ensuring code compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

- Locations: Winnipeg, Manitoba; Toronto, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; Calgary, Alberta; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New Brunswick.
- Employment type: Full-time student internship.
- Compensation: $61,900 to $80,000 annually.
