About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring for a Junior Environmental Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position. You will work within our Environment Division across several potential focus areas, including air quality, site remediation, environmental assessments, and hydrology.
What you'll do#
- Support air quality studies, emissions monitoring, and data analysis.
- Assist with acoustics and noise assessments.
- Conduct environmental site assessments and remediation through field investigations, sampling, monitoring programs, and technical reporting.
- Contribute to environmental compliance tasks.
- Prepare mitigation plans and assessments for various projects.
- Support hydrology and water resource projects through fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in environmental consulting, site assessment, remediation, air quality, and acoustics.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid Canadian driver's license.
- Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including travel to project sites as required.
