About the role#
MCW Group of Companies is hiring a Mechanical Engineering student for a full-time position in our Toronto office. This role is for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site and gain experience in the consulting industry while supporting our engineering and design teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various facilities including commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.
- Help engineers and designers prepare technical drawings.
- Operate CAD and drafting workstations.
- Participate in site visits to support project needs.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
- Experience or working knowledge of AutoCAD or REVIT is an asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A desire to work in a team-based environment.
