About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our El Paso, Texas office and requires on-site attendance. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our engineering team with daily operations, data management, and design projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operations support to the team.
- Compile project data and prepare technical reports.
- Use software like AutoCAD or MicroStation to create schematics, drawings, and design plans.
- Assist with the preparation of traffic signal models and design plans.
- Coordinate with your unit to ensure all work follows company policies and procedures.
- Attend project and organization meetings to stay connected with the broader team.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed at least 60 credit hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
