About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Student, you will join the engineering team in Mississauga to support various nuclear engineering projects. This role provides hands-on experience through training, mentoring, and exposure to real-world project work. You will gain insight into technical, engineering interface, and project management activities within the industry.
What you'll do#
- Support Engineers, Discipline Leads, and Engineering Managers with daily engineering activities and coordination.
- Help deliver work that meets project requirements and company Quality Assurance Programs.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Document Control, Project Management, and field teams.
- Work with the civil team on document reviews, workflow, and Request for Information (RFI) correspondence.
- Attend technical and project coordination meetings.
- Contribute to various engineering and project management tasks.
- Help maintain a positive and collaborative team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program at an accredited Canadian university.
- Ability to apply engineering principles to practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Aptitude for planning, organization, and multitasking.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, MathCAD, or StaadPro is considered an asset.

- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 2027).
