About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Bridge Engineering Intern for the Winter 2027 term in Miami, Florida. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work alongside senior engineers to support bridge and civil structure projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures.
- Prepare reinforcement lists, quantity take-offs, and redlines.
- Review shop drawings to ensure they meet design plan requirements.
- Complete assigned technical training courses to support your professional development.
What you'll need#
- You must be a junior student who has completed at least 90 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Prior experience working within a professional team environment.
- A willingness to learn bridge modeling tools, MathCAD, and Excel.
Location & details#
- Location: Miami, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Compensation: $25 to $31 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
