About the role#
As a Motion Design Intern on the Creative team, you will collaborate with designers and producers to bring ideas to life through motion. You will help create assets for advertising, digital campaigns, and social content. This role offers exposure to the end-to-end creative process, from initial concepts to final client deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns and social content.
- Assist in developing storyboards, style frames, and motion studies to communicate animation ideas.
- Design and animate assets using strong fundamentals like composition, typography, and pacing.
- Collaborate with designers and creative partners to ensure visual work remains cohesive.
- Participate in briefs, reviews, and feedback sessions to iterate on designs.
- Help maintain file organization and support project handoffs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program or equivalent training in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Familiarity with motion and design fundamentals including timing, composition, typography, and layout.
- Basic to intermediate experience in Adobe After Effects.
- A portfolio showcasing motion samples such as short animations, social content, or experimental studies.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site internship located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The program runs during Summer 2027, from June 15th through August 11th.
- Interns are expected to work 20 to 30 hours per week.
